Ann Murray on English Song

Mezzo-soprano Ann Mur­ray has had a glit­ter­ing career on the opera and con­cert stages of the world, and has brought to life the heroes and hero­ines of Han­del, Mozart and Strauss. She is also a renowned inter­preter of a wide-range of song, and closely asso­ci­ated with Britten’s beau­ti­ful song cycles for mezzo.

Chanda par­tic­i­pated to the course with Cana­dian soprano Vanessa Lanch and Amer­i­can bari­tone Bryan Ben­ner.

Roger Vignoles on Strauss and Wolf Lieder

Pianist Roger Vig­noles is one of the world’s great inter­preters of Lieder and here explores the mas­ter­pieces and lesser-known works of two great song com­posers, Hugo Wolf and Richard Strauss.

Chanda par­tic­i­pated to the course with soprano Lucia Cesa­roni, also among the par­tic­i­pants, her friend Max­i­m­il­ian Fuhrig.
